NFL players don’t wear practice jerseys

It was a sunny, crisp autumn day for the Patriots once they went out to Wednesday’s practice, which in turn turned out to be just a walk-through. With just three days off between games, Northeastern won’t have a padded practice to arrange for the Jets on The thanksgiving holiday night.
The media watching window was exceptionally brief today, so, there wasn’t nearly enough time to take attendance, which can be made even more difficult during a walk-through because players don’t wear training jerseys. Players had been available for media interviews delayed Monday night, then again early on Tuesday morning. One of the main matters, as you might expect, was the injury to tight end Deprive Gronkowski. “Obviously, it’s tough,” said fellow small end Aaron Hernandez, who himself has been out of the lineup since the end of October. “He’s one of the best gamers in the league, but you will find there's lot of players and everyone must step up to fill the void. No matter what change is [to the offense], we’ve just got to make plays and load that void that we’re gonna be missing. The way this program is actually, the way [Belichick] makes us become the players that we become is everyone has confidence and we all know we will need to come to play every game irrespective. And in the NFL, men and women go down and other people have to boost.”
“He’s been a very productive gamer, so, other guys have to step into that spot and do the job. That’s what it comes down to,” said QB Tom Brady. “That’s football and every team deals with it at one point or another. He’s a tough guy to replace, but that’s what we need to do. Every single player has some diverse strengths and so forth and you try to play to those guys’ strengths. My partner and i don’t think you go into it and you say, ‘There’s only one Rob Gronkowski; there’s merely one of those in the league.’ The fellows that are going to be in there actively playing that role - Visanthe [Shiancoe] and Hooman [Michael Hoomanawanui] and Daniel [Fells] - they have to go in there and do the very best they can do. That’s why they’re for the team and that’s why we've got 53 guys on the lineup: so everybody can contribute at one point or another.
“I just honestly happen to be thinking about the Jets,” added Brady. “I haven’t recently been thinking about when he’s coming back. He’s not playing this week, so, we must go out there and win without him. There are a lot of guys who are capable of making plays for individuals, and that’s where my attention is concentrated: the guys that are going to try to help us win this game.”
Cornerback Aqib Talib spoke after the Colts game about needing to return in playing shape soon after coming off a month-long insides. Tuesday morning, he decided that having another online game so soon after his first one back could be best for him. “Yeah I think it’ll be good. It’s an instant turnaround. [You've] got to get up here early and get your body proper.”
Only a week into his New England career, Talib says he’s seen a marked difference from his days in Tampa Bay. “You just feel it running around the atmosphere,” Talib tol reporters Tuesday. “It’s an absolute organization. New England filled in its practice squad through signing wide receiver Kamar Aiken and apparently re-claiming defensive back Malcolm Williams, who was simply at today’s walk-through and seen in the particular locker room Monday evening.
